Which type of mold is right for you?

There are two basic types of molds: Log molds and Slab molds. The type of mold you need depends on how you want your soap to look.

Log mold Best for solid color soap Less expensive than slab mold Smaller footprint = less shelf space Available cutting guide Available lid Smaller textured side (see picture below)	Slab mold Best for swirling More expensive than log mold Larger footprint = more shelf space Available divider grid (no more cutting individual bars) Available lid Larger textured side (see picture below)
